Serving the entire North East region and its population of 2.66 million, we employ over 2000 staff and have a turnover of £106m. As a new Foundation Trust, we are already preparing to meet some significant challenges over the next five years in driving through increased efficiencies whilst maintaining our high standards of care and level of performance. We will also be developing our service range through new initiatives such as the '111' non-emergency call service which will be rolled out across the region next year through an expanded call centre operation. People are our organisation and getting the workforce agenda right is critical to our success.
As an executive member of the Trust Board and key member of the Executive Team your remit will cover Human Resources, Organisational Development, Occupational Health & Wellbeing, and both Clinical and Non-Clinical Training. You will inherit a well established team to deliver this.
Professionally qualified you will have a proven track record in Human Resources & OD gained at or near board level in large, complex, and dispersed unionised environments. Able to make a full strategic contribution, you will be used to integrated workforce planning and will have delivered major change programmes. Key to your success will be your ability to lead, motivate and inspire.
